With the decision of the ASAT General Assembly of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, water prices have been increased. The unit price for up to 5 cubic meters of water in residential buildings has been increased from 1.83 TL to 10 TL (approx. 0.3 €).
The increase decision was made for reasons of avoiding water waste, increasing investment costs and increasing electricity prices. According to the new tariff, the unit price for water consumption over 20 cubic meters has been set at 50.34 TL (approx. 1.45 €) and for water over 40 cubic meters at 71.93 TL (approx. 2.05 €).
It was stated that this increase will be implemented from August.
Sewage and garbage fees are also included in the water bill in Turkey.
It is emphasized that this increase is intended to pay more attention to water saving.
