Two television series from Turkey, ‘Istanbullu Gelin’ and ‘Cesur ve Güzel’ have been nominated for an Emmy this year. Nominations for the 2018 International Emmy Awards were announced today by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. There are 44 candidates in 11 categories and 20 countries. The winners will be announced as part of a Black Tie ceremony at the New York Hilton Hotel in November. Actor Tolga Sarıtaş from the TV series “Söz” (Promise) is nominated in the category “Best actor”. Julio Andrade has also been nominated for the drama of Fox Networks’ Latin One ‘One Against All’, Billy Campbell for the Canadian ‘Cardinal’, and Lars Mikkelsen for the Scandi series’ Ride Upon the Storm ‘.
