Since 02/07/2019 a new law has been in force saying that every foreign customer who has a telephone and / or internet connection in his name must register again.
Customers with a residency permit (ie an Ikamet) only need to go to the relevant provider (Türkcell, Vodafone, Türk Telekom) with their customer number and their Ikamet and register their connection again.
Customers who do not have an Ikamet must personally go to the immigration office and the town hall to get a registration number.
The connections are terminated without a new registration.
