As the pictures from the train station in Remagen show, the second batch of the Velaro TR high-speed trains manufactured by SIEMENS made its way to Turkey this week. The Turkish state railway TCDD ordered ten high-speed trains in April 2018, the first partial delivery was delivered in November 2019.
In 2013, TCDD ordered seven trains (six passenger trains and one measuring train), which have been in operation for four years on the route between the capital Ankara and Konya. The Velaro TR high-speed trains offer space for 519 passengers in Economy Class, First Class and in the three business class compartments.
The trains can reach a top speed of up to 300 km / h.
