You can easily reach all parts of the city and the surrounding area by public transport. In Alanya only buses run, the city buses are modern and offer a high capacity. Young, old or people with special needs – all social classes use the cheap means of transport. The bus network covers the whole of Alanya, so you can safely leave your car behind. All buses are air-conditioned and have plenty of space for prams or wheelchairs. Bus doors open and close automatically so that the elderly or disabled can get on and off more easily. In addition, the bus fleet is equipped with security cameras to ensure a safe journey. You can follow the route with the coming bus stations on the monitors in the bus. Only the driver’s door is used to get in and pay, and get out via the back doors. The system prevents traffic jams – it aims to keep the buses well organized. There are two ways to pay for the bus ticket. Either you pay the driver directly, then the ticket costs 4 TL. Or you can get an Alanya Kent Kart. For a fee of 7 TL you get a plastic card that you can top up with as much credit as you want. When you enter, hold the plastic card up to the machine, 3.25 TL will be automatically deducted from your credit.
