German e-sports cars are currently experiencing a sales boom in Turkey. Every second electric car in the country came from Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen in 2020. Three years ago, the starting shot was given for the construction of the first fully electric car in Turkey. At the end of 2022, the first TOGG, an SUV designed for a wide range of buyers, is expected to hit customers and the Turkish road, and then to Germany in 2024. Until then, however, foreign e-vehicles will be romping around on Turkish roads, especially German ones. There aren’t many e-cars, but they stand out – in the streets of the metropolises. Jaguar, Mercedes and especially Porsche are popular.
