Recently, a law was passed whereby commercial companies are only allowed to enter into real estate contracts in Turkish Liras and no longer in another currency (dollar / euro, etc.).
This is intended to strengthen the domestic currency. For non-Turkish citizens who do not live here, nothing changes.
It is particularly about letting objects: the contracts are to be made in TL. It also tries to help local businessmen, who have to pay their rents in euros and are severely disadvantaged by the exchange rate.
