In order to be suitable for a residence permit, properties purchased from October 16, 2023 or later must have a registration value in the land register (Tapu) of at least 200,000 USD (approx. 190,000 euros). From October 16, 2023, the expertise (real estate valuation report) is no longer sufficient for the Ikamet application, but rather the equivalent of USD 200,000 in TL must be entered in the land register.
For properties purchased between April 26, 2022 and October 16, 2023, the $75,000 registration value requirement continues to apply.
