As announced by Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG, Turkish Airlines will again be offering scheduled flights between Leipzig / Halle and Istanbul Airport from July 15. Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday it goes to the Bosporus – from there long-distance destinations can be headed for, for example, in Asia, the Middle East or Africa – or to Alanya / Gazipasa! Just look for suitable connections. The connection between the airport in Istanbul and Halle / Leipzig had existed since May 2012, but since March 2020 no Turkish Airlines aircraft have been flying due to the ongoing corona pandemic.
