A regulation requiring payments for purchases over a certain amount to be made through banks or financial institutions has been amended. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has published the amendment to the General Notice on the Tax Procedure Law in the Official Gazette, which has been in effect since 30.11.2024.
Previously, payments for purchases exceeding TL 7,000 had to be made through banks or financial institutions. This threshold has now been raised to TL 30,000.
