The famous luxury train Orient Express has crossed many countries during this year’s journey from Paris to Istanbul, giving passengers a unique experience.
The Orient Express has started its journey in Paris, with 100 guests from different countries on board reaching the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. The luxury train, consisting of 15 wagons, has been stopping at the Kapıkule station every year since 1998. The luxury trip of one week onboard the Venice Simplon-Orient Express takes place once a year. It allows passengers to travel to different countries in the same elegant style as during the golden years of train travel in Europe. Writer Agatha Christie and British director Alfred Hitchcock often mentioned the train in their exciting stories.
