This new system aims to prevent unregistered activities in the real estate trade by preventing fake advertisements and price manipulation.
The Verified Advertisement System was developed to protect consumer rights and prevent misleading advertisements. With this regulation, real estate advertisements can only be placed through real estate companies authorized by the property owner, their close relatives or spouses. Thanks to the system, which will come into effect from 15.09.24, real estate owners can verify their advertisements by authorizing real estate companies through E-devlet.
The Electronic Advertisement Verification System (EIDS) established by the Ministry of Commerce will become active from September 15th and will be mandatory from 01.01.2025.
Strict controls will be carried out and penalties of up to approximately 150,000 TL will be imposed in case of non-compliance.
