TURKISH CYCLING CUP: 1st STAGE OF THE ROAD RACE WITH SCORING IS COMPLETED


The points road race of the 1st stage of the Turkish Cycling Cup, hosted by the Turkish Cycling Federation in Alanya for two days, was completed with the participation of almost 200 athletes.In the first stage of the Turkish Cycling Cup, athletes competed in the senior men, senior women, young men and young women categories. In the races that started on the first day in front of the National Egemenlik Stadium, the athletes cycled 73 kilometers and returned from the Mahmutlar – Demirtaş – Gazipaşa route (new road) via Tosmur Junction – D-400.On Sunday, January 21st, the criterium races began in front of “Ögretmen Evi” and continued in front of Alanya District Police Department – ​​in front of Meteorology – Alaaddin Beach Hotel. In the men’s category, Mustafa Ayyorkun took first place, Tahir Buğra Yiğit took second place and Samet Bulut took third place. In the young men’s category, Emre Kaplan took first place, Hakan Ramazan Sayan took second place and Mehmet Emin Çiçek took third place.In the senior women’s category, Azize Bekar took first place, Semanur Kiriş took second place and Esra Nur Gökçek took third place. In the young women’s category, Hatice Buse Ertekin took first place, Keziban Öztürk took second place and Esma Duman took third place. Alanya Youth Sports Director Emre Kıldırgıcı and association officials presented the medals to the winning athletes.
