As of November 1, it is prohibited to advertise any property or vehicle that does not belong to the person, his or her spouse, first or second degree blood relative, or that has not been authorized by the owner. In addition, real estate agents and car dealers can advertise the vehicle or property they are authorized to sell by reviewing the authorization documents they have. Those who violate the legislation will be subject to administrative penalties of up to 100,000 lira for each violation.
The aim of these changes is to prevent the placement of advertising with fake information and to make offers safer and more reliable for customers.
